About the presenter
Dr. Irit Van-Ham holds a PhD in Pharmacology and Physiology from Tel Aviv University's Medical School and completed postgraduate studies in neuroscience at the University of Ottawa, Canada, where she also conducted research as a postdoctoral fellow.
With over 25 years of professional experience in various industries, Dr. Van-Ham is the founder and Chief Technology Officer of ToeFX, a medical device company focused on developing innovative treatments for nail fungus. Before this, she founded and served as CEO of Olliane Ltd., a personalised skincare company. Dr Van-Ham brings extensive expertise as a consultant in toxicology, environmental health, and regulatory affairs, with a specialisation in toxicology. She has also worked as a toxicology specialist at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Arcadis. Earlier in her career, she held a senior role at TEVA Pharmaceuticals.
